Asphalt Technical Services [ATS] is a SANAS Accredited Civil Engineering Materials Testing Laboratory (Accreditation no. T0876) since 9th May 2019 and is highly committed to the Quality Management System of ISO ISO/IEC 17025:2017 International Standard.

Asphalt Technical Services [ATS] is part of the Gauteng Asphalt Group of Companies consist of:

• Roadseal (Pty) Ltd - laying high quality asphalt;
• Tarspray cc – production of bitumen-based-binders, including penetration grade bitumen, polymer modified bitumen and cutbacks;
• Gauteng Asphalt (Pty) Ltd - production of all grades of asphalt;
• Asphalt Technical Services (Pty) Ltd – [ATS] was established in 2004 to provide quality control testing of the products produced and raw materials for the Gauteng Asphalt Group of Companies and are located on the same premises.

Asphalt Technical Services (Pty) Ltd is a SANAS Accredited Civil Engineering Materials Testing Laboratory (Accreditation no. T0876) since 9th May 2019 and is highly committed to do all testing activities according to the general requirements of ISO/IEC 17025:2017 International Standard.

The Laboratory is well established and operates completely independent from the Group of Companies and has valuable technical experience of almost 16 years, gained from the quality control testing of the daily production of the Group of Companies.

The most current revision of all the test methods and standards are sued for the performance of our testing activities.
